I know fall is right around the corner, and everyone is starting to bust out the fall looks! However, I am in no rush to see the summer go. Also, I’m not too crazy about shooting fall looks in the summer humidity. I’m going to keep busting out the summer looks as long as I can! With that said, one style of dress that I’ve seen lately but have’t had the chance to try until now, has been the asymmetrical dress.
This particular asymmetrical dress is the Bond St Dress from Yumi Kim. I received it from a new clothing subscription service called Nuuly from URBN which I’m trying out. 6 items of clothing for $88 a month, and at the end of each month, you can buy what you like at a discount, return the rest and repeat. As someone who shoots different outfits for my blog and likes to change up my style, this is the perfect subscription for me. I’ve also been trying to be a bit more conscious about buying fewer clothes.
I love the attention to details on this dress which are out of this world. Let’s start with the three bold botanical prints that work so well together. When I first saw it, I immediately knew it was a dress I wanted to have for a period of time! I got it in an extra small and it fit me like a glove. The dress has adjustable straps which can in handy because I did need to tighten them a bit. I also absolutely love the v-neck and the wrapped silhouette details! This dress is definitely a statement dress that will have people complimenting you wherever you wear it to. The pricing on this dress and the ones I shared in the shop my post carousal are a bit pricier than I like to spend, but the quality and detailing of this dress is really worth the price. Sometimes you just can’t cheap on things like that.
Are you feeling the asymmetrical look? If not then how about this particular dress? Let me know in the comment or email me HERE and let’s chat about it 🙂
