Old NYC Vintage Vibes

A few weeks ago, Hannah Rozelle ( who I connected with on Instagram) and I embarked out to the Williamsburg Bridge on a very cold Saturday morning to capture moody images on the bridge with some of my vintage pieces.

For those of you who don’t know me, I love love love vintage clothing. I used to go thrifting all the time when I lived in Maryland 5 years ago, but have lost touch with it since moving back to NYC.

So when Hannah reached out to me and asked me if I had any vintage pieces to shoot in, I jumped on the opportunity to rock some of my vintage finds. It was so fun digging in my closet and bringing my favorite thrift store finds out to play. The thing I like about thrifting is that you really get a chance to find one of the kind unique items, that you probably wont ever see anywhere else. It’s definitely something I want to get back to because I do miss it. I’ve also been very inspired by the fashion on the Amazon show The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. It’s a show about a NYC housewife in 1958 who goes from being a housewife to a stand up comedian. Not only is it a great show, the fashion is out of this world, and will give you all the 1950’s NYC vintage vibes.
