One thing I always try to do when the weather starts getting cold is to find ways to make my summer dresses work for the colder weather.
An easy way to do this is to layer your dresses with long sleeve tops and sweaters either underneath your dress or over it.
With this look, I opted to wear a long sleeve blouse under this slip black dress with a pair of boots. Very effortless and simple. On this particular fall day, the weather was pretty warm so I was comfortable with my legs out. On a colder day, you can wear tights or knee-high socks for warmth and throw on a jacket.
Do you usually try to transition your summer dresses into the fall?
