The Holiday season is upon us, which means wrapping ourselves up in our favorite layers and jackets. Lucky for us, Old Navy came through with the colors and coziness that will last all winter long.

Let me tell you about their signature Puffa Jackets. They’re brighter, better and come as a vest as well. They also come in different versions including bright colors, glittering metallics, and velvet versions. These Puffa’s keep you very warm, and they’re also the perfect pop of color to make any outfit stand out this holiday season.

Some people like to wear their sherpa on their body. I like to wear mine on my feet. Not only are these Sherpa-Trim High-Tops cute they’re also super comfortable! The cushioned insoles made with memory foam makes it easy to wear these shoes all day without any discomfort or sore feet which is a big plus for me. I also love how the sherpa trim keeps my ankles super cozy!

Now, I’m a huge denim fan and when I heard about these Built-in Warm denim, I knew I had to get a pair. You can find them in the Rockstar Fit, and they’re the perfect jeans for cold days. Whether you’re getting a cup of coffee at your local cafe or hitting the city for a night out, the Built-in Warm Denim can be both dressed up for special nights out or down for everyday activities. Comfortable to move in with just the right amount of stretch, these Built-in Warm Denim are here to give you coziness to the max.

Let Old Navy help you squeeze more fun out of life this holiday season!

As I get older, I’ve started to get into taking care of my skin more so than I used to. Since I have sensitive skin, using skin care products that are clean and don’t use harmful chemicals are key to me.

I got a few goodies from Credo Beauty, which is a company that curates clean beauty products worldwide. Their goal is to make people more conscious about the ingredients and products they use on their skin. I’ve heard of them before but never tried any of their products until now.

Check out the video below where I use some of my favorite products and review them and let me know if you’re into the clean beauty movement!

I used to think that when the weather became cold, that I had to put away all my bright colors and fun floral prints. However,
I’m quickly learning that doesn’t have to be the case and I’m all about bringing summer with me into the Fall.

I’ve had this Forever 21 maxi skirt for at least over 5 years and religiously wear it ever summer.
I wanted to keep wearing it into the fall so I decided to try something new.
I paired it with a leather jacket that my cousin gave me a few weeks ago, a blouse and a pair of vans because you can never go wrong with vans.
You can easily switch out the vans for some boots to dress it up.

Check out the outfit images and let me know if this is something you would wear, or pass on!

One thing I always try to do when the weather starts getting cold is to find ways to make my summer dresses work for the colder weather.

An easy way to do this is to layer your dresses with long sleeve tops and sweaters either underneath your dress or over it.
IMG_9498With this look, I opted to wear a long sleeve blouse under this slip black dress with a pair of boots.  Very effortless and simple. On this particular fall day, the weather was pretty warm so I was comfortable with my legs out. On a colder day, you can wear tights or knee-high socks for warmth and throw on a jacket.

Do you usually try to transition your summer dresses into the fall?

What’s up, Guys?!? I know it’s been a while since my last blog post (a week to be exact, so not that long), but I’m back with some new exciting content that I’ve been cooking up starting with this foodie review post.

I went out to eat with a friend last week at a restaurant I’ve walked by numerous times, but never tried. With 3 locations in the city and a 4th that recently opened up Uptown on 1429 3rd Avenue , Mexique which started out as a food truck is a restaurant mixing the influences of Mexican traditions and the American south.

The Food:

We got an order of their Classic Nachos, Mexican Street Corn and 2 Spicy margaritas made with their house fireball tequila to start with. I was feeling a little under the weather at the time, and the margaritas very much saved me with the delicious spices. We then ordered some tacos. We had the Wild Rock Shrimp, Nashville Hot Chicken, Fried Avocado, Smoky Chicken and the Brisket. The tacos were full of mouth-watering flavors and the ingredients were very fresh. Personally, my favorites were the Wild Rock Shrimp, and the Friend Avocado. They both completely exceeded my expectations. The Nashville Chicken was a little too salty for me but I loved how spicy it was.

We went to the Chelsea location on 8th Avenue, and we got there around 2:30 pm. It wasn’t crowded, but I can easily see it being a place that gets packed later on in the day. The decor has both a modern and rustic southern charm to it with a bit of a tropical vibe. The first thing that stood out to me was the bar which was fully packed with different bourbons and tequilas. I would definitely sit at the bar next time, just because of how spacious, bright and inviting it is.  They also have a to-go area with a different entrance which is really convenient if you work around the area and want to grab a quick bite.

We had an amazing experience and will definitely be coming back for the tasty drinks and food. They also do brunch at this location if that’s something you’re into. My only complaint would be that they don’t have a location in Brooklyn, but who knows. It might be something in their future.
