I’ve had a thing for wearing knit since last summer. I know it’s not the firtst thing you think about wearing as the weather starts getting warm, but I found 2 knit tops that were very comfortable to wear throughout the summer. Because of this, I’ve wanted a pair of knit pants as well. I’ve always liked the idea of what they might look like on me and I’ve seen one of my favorite blogger Styledevotee rocking them so well, that I had to find myself a pair and give it a go..
These pants came out not too long ago at H&M and I made sure to grab them online ASAP. They sold out pretty quickly, so I’m guessing I wasn’t the only person looking for knit pants. I have seen knit pants from other companies, but they were extremly expensive. These were only $29.99 plus I had a discount code so they ended up being $22. I ordered them in a small instead of x-small which was a mistake. I have this tendency of thinking I’m not as small as I actually am and end up buying items that are big sometimes. So I had to exchange it and I opted to do it in person instead of dealing with the post office. I had to go to 3 different H&M’s to find an x-small.
I paired them up with a top that also happened to be from H&M and shoes which I got at The Goodwill. I’m not really sure what to call this look, but it reminds me of the military.
Back to the knit pants. They do run a bit big, so I recommend going a size down. The crotch is a bit long so I recommend wearing it high waisted. The material is a little heavy but I think I’ll be able to wear it up until the weather consistently hits the 80’s. Overall I’m happy I finally tried them, and look forward to adding more to my wardrobe.
