Where has the time gone? I can’t believe we are 1 day away from August already. The summers in New York are always so short, but we still have a bit of time to wear our summer wardrobe before fall hits the scene. Which is why I’m super excited about this week’s blog post because I did just that with a little help from a brand called Lovestitch.
Lovestitch is an online women’s clothing company with a killer knack for incorporating bohemian vibes and the laid back California lifestyle in their pieces. For this blog post, I was able to select a few pieces from their new collection to style.
First off is this gorgeous Tawney Mini Party Dress! I Love this dress! It comes in two colors, the natural which I’m wearing and in turquoise. It’s a fun and flirty piece to wear with absolutely no fuss. There are so many cute details from the long split sleeves, to the open back tie that really make this the perfect dress for any occasion. I wore it for a photoshoot a few days ago and I couldn’t stop getting compliments. It’s also a piece I see myself transitioning into the fall with a pair of boots and stockings!
Next up, the Mor Jacquard Cami. This is the cutest little top to pair with any kind of denim. I choose to wear it with a white denim skirt for this photo, but I’ve also worn it with high waisted jeans. I love the pleated details in the front of the cami as well as the skinny tie shoulder straps which you can adjust to your liking.

If you ever wanted to feel like a fairy in real life, the Gilly Whimsical Floral Dress would be the dress to wear. This dreamy maxi dress is the perfect summer dress for a day on the beach or in the park. It has amazing details that stand out such as the crochet lace insets, the open, tie-back detail, and the V-neckline. It also has POCKETS!!! It’s best to wear this with shoes that have a bit of height to them if you’re short because the dress is long and flowy.
Lastly, we have the Dylan Polka Dot Jumper. This piece has everything I love! Criss-cross back, cropped wide-leg, and POCKETS!!! Honestly, I’m sold on anything that has pockets. I also love the color (comes in black as well) and polka-dots. I choose to wear it without a shirt underneath because a little side cleavage never hurt anybody. I did wear it to work once and just threw on a black tank and it looked just as fine. The straps were a bit long, so I did have to do a little pinning to shorten them.
Overall, I was very pleased with all of my selections from Lovestitch and I’ll be wearing the hell out of every piece until the weather forces me to do otherwise. I always enjoy discovering new
