One thing a dread after a long day with a face full of makeup is having to take the makeup off. Most of the time I’m pretty lazy and don’t want to deal with my face, which is a no for your skin, so I always make sure to remove it. I usually use a makeup remover wipe which irritates and tugs away at my skin and sometimes includes alcohol. Being a huge fan of Korean skincare methods, I was really excited to try the Double Cleanse and Boost kit from Julep.
The Korean method of double cleansing removes all dirt and impurities from your skin to allow the rest of your skin care routine to deliver the maximum outcome. The Double Cleanse and Boost is available at Julep and Ulta Beauty and is a 3 step routine which includes a Hydrating Cleansing Oil, a Detoxifying Cleansing Stick with a Charcoal Konjac Sponge, and a Reparative Rosehip Seed Oil.
The Hydrating Cleansing Oil literally melts any makeup you have on right off your face. Don’t believe me? Check out this video real quick!
The Detoxifying Cleansing Stick which comes with a Charcoal Konjac Sponge is a gently exfoliating & deep cleansing duo that work together to remove pore-clogging dirt. Lastly, the Reparative Rosehip Seed Oil leaves your skin radiant and hydrated while controlling the oil production on your face and preventing fine lines and hyperpigmentation.
All three products work very well together but can be used separately as well. I’ve definitely noticed my skin getting smoother and softer with a very nice glow to it which makes it easy to integrate into my daily skincare routine because I see results. If I had to choose a favorite of all three, I would have to choose the Hydrating Cleansing Oil just because it’s made my life a whole lot easier when it comes to removing my makeup and keeping my skin healthy in the process.
