This week I’m doing a foundation review on Maybelline’s Fit Me foundation. I’ve been trying to incorporate more video content into my blog, so you’ll be seeing a lot more video reviews like this in the coming year. Check out the video review below and let me know what you think.
This will also be my last blog post of the year. I can’t believe I started this blog almost a year ago. Thank you for being on this journey with me. I’ve learned so much on the way and can’t wait to come back in the new year with more kick-ass content. Happy Holidays!
As I get older, I’ve started to get into taking care of my skin more so than I used to. Since I have sensitive skin, using skin care products that are clean and don’t use harmful chemicals are key to me.
I got a few goodies from Credo Beauty, which is a company that curates clean beauty products worldwide. Their goal is to make people more conscious about the ingredients and products they use on their skin. I’ve heard of them before but never tried any of their products until now.
Check out the video below where I use some of my favorite products and review them and let me know if you’re into the clean beauty movement!
One thing a dread after a long day with a face full of makeup is having to take the makeup off. Most of the time I’m pretty lazy and don’t want to deal with my face, which is a no for your skin, so I always make sure to remove it. I usually use a makeup remover wipe which irritates and tugs away at my skin and sometimes includes alcohol. Being a huge fan of Korean skincare methods, I was really excited to try the Double Cleanse and Boost kit from Julep.
All three products work very well together but can be used separately as well. I’ve definitely noticed my skin getting smoother and softer with a very nice glow to it which makes it easy to integrate into my daily skincare routine because I see results. If I had to choose a favorite of all three, I would have to choose the Hydrating Cleansing Oil just because it’s made my life a whole lot easier when it comes to removing my makeup and keeping my skin healthy in the process.
Check out the products and let me know your thoughts.
I’ve always been a fan of natural perfume oils over alcohol-based perfumes. They tend to last longer and have more of a natural scent than regular perfumes especially in the summertime when alcohol-based perfumes scents can get a bit too strong and overwhelming.
So I was pleasantly surprised when one of my favorite Brooklyn companies Apotheke, who I thought only sold candles also sold perfume oils. One thing I love about Apotheke is their approach to make handmade high-quality products locally. I also love their whole aesthetics and minimalist packaging.
I got my hands on their Flowershop perfume oil. It has hints of black jasmine, orange peel, and vanilla, and I absolutely love the natural scent. Just a little roll on my neck and wrist before I leave home and I rarely have to reapply. If you do need to reapply, the roll-on bottle is tiny enough that you can just pop it into your bag for later which is perfect for people who are always on the go and need to freshen up here and there.
Do you use perfume oils? What are some of your favorite brands and scents? I want to know!
Club Clio Professional which is a South Korean brand, is easily becoming one of my favorite go to for skin care and makeup products. I first started using their products about 6 months ago when I attended their NYC store opening and I have been using their products ever since. So naturally I was really excited when they came out with their Young Barley Sparkling Toner, Serum and Gel Cream which promotes sebum control and pore care. I’ve been using the product for a little bit over a month, and decided to do my first YouTube product review.
